GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE OF THYON EVASION SARL
All offers from Thyon Evasion Sàrl are subject to the following General Conditions of Sale. The purchase of a course, online or at the counter, constitutes acceptance of the entirety of these General Conditions of Sale.
Ski pass and equipment
Ski lift subscriptions are not included in the course prices.
Ski, snowboard or telemark equipment are not included in the course prices.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage to your ski equipment.
If you forget, Thyon Evasion Sàrl will not postpone the course schedule, it is the client’s duty to show up on time and equipped for their course.
Insurance & Accidents
No insurance is included in the course prices.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl offers accident insurance at the price of CHF 4.- or CHF 6.- per person and per day. See the conditions of sale and details of these insurances on www.snowassist.ch
Thyon Evasion Sàrl declines all responsibility in the event of an accident and / or illness.
Lessons
Sale
The prices displayed in € are only indicative and will be adapted to the day’s rate.
By paying online or at the counter, the customer accepts these general conditions of sale in full.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl accepts payments by Visa, Mastercard, Twint credit cards.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl accepts cash payments in Swiss Franc (CHF) or Euro (€) at the non-negotiable exchange rate of 1 € = 1CHF. The difference will be returned in Swiss Franc.
Ski lesson tickets are personal, non-transferable and non-refundable. The pricing guidelines are binding.
Group lessons
Group lessons include a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 10 participants depending on the level of the lessons.
The times given are non-negotiable. Latecomers will be responsible for joining the group on the slopes by their own means.
The formulas are 6 or 5 ½ days or full days. Sunday to Friday or Monday to Friday. These days are consecutive and cannot be carried over to other weeks.
Group lesson tickets are personal, non-transferable, non-refundable and non-interchangeable.
The ski school reserves the right to apply a different program depending on the number of people registered and the snow conditions at the time.
Private lessons
The dates and times of the private lessons are set by mutual agreement with the client, before the purchase. The pricing guidelines are binding.
In the event of the client being late, Thyon Evasion Sàrl will neither postpone nor compensate for the course times. It is the client’s duty to show up on time at the meeting place for his class.
Cancellation & refunds
Ski lessons are not refundable
No reimbursement will be offered in the event of bad weather conditions, stoppage of facilities or any other event beyond the control of Thyon Evasion Sàrl requiring the cancellation of lessons.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl strongly recommends that you take out cancellation insurance when purchasing ski lessons or when purchasing ski passes at the Télé-Thyon SA ticket offices.
Class tickets are neither exchanged nor refunded following a participant’s defection.
Pandemic
Special pandemic conditions have been put in place at Thyon Evasion Sàrl, the risk of a pandemic being an exceptional situation. The pandemic clause is an integral part of the General Conditions of Sale of Thyon Evasion Sàrl and allows the client of Thyon Evasion Sàrl to obtain a refund for his ski / snowboard lessons in the event of closure of the area following a government decision, by the Confederation and / or the Canton of Valais.
Only an official government binding measure preventing the client from taking advantage of his lessons allows him to claim a refund, less administrative costs of CHF 20.-. The following are considered binding government measures:
- Partial or total confinement of Switzerland resulting in a closure of the Ski School
- Partial or total confinement of the customer’s country of residence
- A quarantine imposed by Switzerland upon arrival in the country or a quarantine imposed by the client’s country upon his return that does not reasonably allow him to travel
This clause is only valid for the duration of the host’s courses and is in no way applicable if the aforementioned binding measures do not impact the courses in question.
Thyon Evasion Sàrl can in no way be held responsible for the non-attendance of a client if this results from a non-binding reason (eg principle of prudence, recommendation not to travel, etc.) or non-governmental (personal reasons, cases of illness or accidents, etc.).
It is the customer’s duty to properly insure against these risks. In such a case, the customer alone bears the responsibility for not taking advantage of his course and the standard cancellation conditions will apply.
Various
For internal needs (training, pre-season courses, etc.) or for promotional purposes, course and atmosphere photos may be taken and posted on our website and our social networks without prior request from participants, accompanying persons or parents.
